Corporate Travel Insurance

Personal Travel Insurance
We can offer an extensive travel policy covering you for almost every situation, almost anywhere your travels may take you:
- Cancellation of Travel (optional): Cover for travel and accommodation deposits that you have paid before your departure from New Zealand;
- Medical Expenses: Medical Expenses reasonably incurred for injury or illness during the period of travel;
- Luggage and Personal Effects: Accidental and sudden loss of baggage or personal effects during travel;
- Terrorism: Coverage for medical and repatriation expenses as a result of an act of terrorism. Dependent on New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Country Classifications at the time of booking;
- Rental Vehicle Excess (additional optional benefits available also): Cover for the amount you are required to pay, subject to a normal policy excess, following sudden accidental loss or damage to a rental vehicle;
- Personal Liability and Legal Costs: Legal liability and defence costs occurring outside of New Zealand during the period of travel.
Cover can be arranged for individuals, groups or families. There are three plans to choose from:
- Plan A: North America, Canada, Japan, Caribbean, Antarctica and Europe;
- Plan B: UK, Middle East, Russia, Central/South America, Africa, Asia and Indian Subcontinent; or,
- Plan C: Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Islands.
Should you be travelling to a combination of any of the above listed countries your travel insurance premium will be calculated specifically to match your travel itinerary. This gives you the advantage of purchasing a premium that is tailored to your individual needs.
Additional Options
Deposit/Travel Cancellation Option
If you are booking your trip now, but not paying the balance of your airfare until later, we can cover you for Cancellation of Travel with our Deposit/Travel Cancellation Option. Cost is $75 per adult.
Rental Vehicle Excess
You have the option to increase the standard Rental Vehicle Excess cover from $1,000 to $4,000 for an additional premium of $10 per day of hire.
Specified Items
If you are traveling with any item or set of items valued over $1,500, we can insure it for an extra premium based on 2% of the full current market value. Video cameras and cameras are covered free of charge up to $2,500. The maximum amount we can cover for any one item is $5,000, and the maximum for all Specified Items is $15,000.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
We recommend that all travellers with a Pre-Existing Medical Condition obtain cover. For further information on what conditions must be disclosed please contact us.
